Report by Provost’s Task Force on Assessment in Online Programs

The Provost’s Task Force on Assessment in Online Programs presented their report to Provost Bernardo and Vice Provost Wack on June 27, 2014. The Task Force inventoried program assessment practices in WSU’s 15 degrees offered online; inventory results and task force discussion created a snapshot of current strengths and challenges. The Provost’s Office will be working with the Global Campus, departments and colleges, and the Office of Assessment of Teaching and Learning (ATL) to implement several of the Task Force’s recommendations.

ATL looks forward to working with faculty and administration in the future to support useful and sustainable assessment of student learning, and to help WSU meet its standards for accreditation.
