Teaching and Learning Summer Grant Proposals

Samuel and Patricia Smith Teaching and Learning Grants: Proposals Due June 1

Proposals are requested for summer grants to improve undergraduate student learning in one of three focus areas:

• Integration of sustainability concepts into general education courses
• Improving student engagement in large courses
• Revision of courses for new UCORE standards

Please address a 1-2 page letter of inquiry and CV to Mary Wack, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, by June 1.  Six grants of $5000 will be awarded, and awards are restricted to WSU faculty.  ATL is available to consult with grant recipients on assessment of student learning.
